| Visits to the Schools Museum staff can visit classes bringing boxes of artifacts for show and tell that illustrate different topics. Some are hands on objects. The following list gives some idea of what has been done. New topics can be designed to fit a teacher's theme. Because the museum has a wide range of items in its collection, new topics can be designed to fit a teacher's theme.

| Young Pioneers A summer program open to those entering 2nd through 5th grades. Children see items from the Native Americans, dig for lead ore, prepare 19th century foods, and play games from the past. In 2011 1st session July 11-14, 1-3 p.m., 2nd session July 18-21, 1-3 p.m. Fees. Class size limited |
